You Are The Result Of Your Choices

I conduct presentations and speak for corporate events all over the country.

I have come to realise that some people are so adept at making excuses that they make them automatically or subconsciously. They constantly attempt to avoid responsibility for choices or decisions they make.

When faced with making a choice or offering an excuse, take responsibility and ownership for your actions.

Consider for a minute if avoiding the blame is worth jeopardising your self-respect and the respect others have for you. Do you want to be known as the person who has the courage to take responsibility for your actions or the person who always has an excuse?

Everything in your life exists because you first made a choice about something.
Choices develop into habits. Every decision you make in some shape or form will alter the path you take in life.

No one began their life with everything they needed to succeed. No one is better than you are. Every skill someone has – in business, communication and negotiation, relationships – that person learned over the course of a lifetime. Everyone who is good in any area today was once poor in that area. Experts begin not even knowing their field exists. Hundreds of thousands of people around the globe have risen to the top of their fields. You can do so too. It all comes down to the choices you make.

So, why are so many of us afraid of making the wrong choice?

What is it going to take for us to reach our true potential and not end up in that graveyard full of regrets? I believe the two main answers are making the right choices and not allowing your fears to dictate your emotions.
Check out my short 60 video below for my answer.
